Turmeric Benefits for Dogs
So, you love drinking this golden milk for health but why not share it with your dog? Read to learn how to give for cancer prevention.
So, we all know why this healing recipe is so great - it contains one of the most powerful anti-cancer spice called turmeric. But even besides that, the taste is just too good. It is calming and soothes the body and mind in a way that you just want to drink it again and again.

But here I am to make you wonder; why not share it with your dog? The question is not always "why?"
The question is "why not?"

To make it easy for you to read & understand, I have again written this article in question-answer format.

Lets dive in right away! Exciting!

What is Golden Milk? Can you explain?

Turmeric milk is also called golden milk. It is an age-old Ayurvedic recipe that truly delivers the healing to one's body. It is taken when someone has fever, cold, cough, pains, or recovering from surgery or accidents. But, nowadays, with so much toxic air and water and what most people feed their dogs, it is imperative that we do whatever we can in our power to keep our dog's body clean and keep any possibility of inflammation completely away.

I have a dog & want to prevent cancer/diseases. Can I give Fido some of this?

Yes! No matter how your dog is feeling right now - from perfect state to aging, sick pet, you can and must add this to your dog's diet.

Whenever I make it, I add 1 whole tablespoon to my dogs's food. They love it. Now, you can start with lower quantity like 1 teaspoon at first if your dog is not used to spices and homemade, real food and remedies. To avoid stomach upset, simply add this mix to the food bowl and see. If your dog does not have any digestive issues, then increase to little more teaspoon. But yes, do give some to your dog.

How many times should I give to Fido each day?

That depends on your dog's health state. If your dog has inflammation like skin issues, itching, arthritis, swelling, pains, arthritis, cancer, diabetes, lumps/cysts, etc then you should give this to your dog more in the beginning.

So, start with 3 times a day and go from there. You can do once in the morning, once in mid-afternoon  and early evening.

If your dog is otherwise healthy, then just once is enough.

Which spice/s can I add & how will these spices help my dog?

Not just turmeric but cardamom, cinnamon and black pepper are excellent spices for dogs.

Cardamom helps dogs who have digestive issues, gas, lethargy, ibs/ibd, inflammation, are too thin/or obese, or simply need some preventive care. Cardamom is a "cooling spice" so that means it will cool off the burning inflammation in your dog's body and calm the heat. Cardamom is a relative of ginger and has been considered the "Queen of Spices" in Ayurveda.

Ginger is excellent in winter time as it will really go above and beyond to help sick, old/aging pets with stiff joints, pains, arthritis, digestive issues or inflammation. So, why not? Add a pinch of ginger to this and you will see the immediate benefits as the pain from stiffness or arthritis lessens and your dog starts walking/feeling better.

Cinnamon is great for oral health and is an important, powerful anti-cancer spice. It will also help your dog keep a balanced sugar. So, just a little bit is all you need. Let this be your dog's new "treat" time.

What plant-based milk is good for my dog?

You can make this in rice milk or flax, hemp, coconut, pea milk. Today, the good news is that the choices are endless. Or, you can just make in water and add to some tempting brown rice or quinoa mix and serve to your dog. My dogs even take it in almond milk. No issues.

What else can I add to increase absorbability and benefits for my dog?

Turmeric is fat soluble, meaning taking it with some healthy oil/fat like organic, unrefined coconut oil or coconut butter or even just making it in coconut or flax milk will help get it absorbed better. Just add a tiny, small teaspoon of coconut oil when you make and you have a very potent, healing drink that ought to make you AND your dog feel good right away!

How should I serve this new "treat" to my dog?

You can give a tablespoon or more in your dog's bowl and probably your dog will just lick it right away. Or, you can add it to some brown rice or quinoa and serve.

Can I make it one time & store it for few days?

Yes! You can. You can then serve it everyday from the glass bottle you store it in.

However way you like to serve, just do it! Your dog deserves better and these kind of treats and whole-foods will keep your dog healthy and save you tons of money. This is far better than commercial treats that Americans spend billions on! Goodness!

This is it! Enjoy this drink with your loved ones including your dog. Make this for guests and impress them with taste and color!

To tasty and fun, colorful anti-cancer treats for your dog!
