CBD Oil is the latest health trend but how can it be used for our dogs to improve their health? Find out all about CBD oil in this article. It is safe to say that CBD oil has taken the crown - it has attracted attention of both the holistic as well as conventional community. Being touted for its immense health benefits, especially in a world full of rising health epidemics, CBD has become one of the most searched term on the internet as well as within the medical research field.
When some natural product seems so miraculous, we start wondering if it can also help solve our pets issues - hence the obsession of dog owners with CBD. In this article, let's find out if CBD is really worth it or not and if so, what benefits it delivers and how to best give to our dogs. Hemp Oil vs. CBD Oil - But first, I want to make clear that hemp oil is not CBD oil and CBD oil is not hemp oil; hemp oil comes from the seeds of the hemp plant whereas CBD oil comes from the leaves, stalks and buds of the hemp plant. Hemp oil can be used daily for its added health benefits as it is a nutritional supplement, unlike CBD oil which has strong therapeutic benefits and therefore is mostly used after one has cancer, seizures, anxiety, arthritis, and so on. Another point to note is that CBD oil can contain up to 0.3% THC (Tetrahydrocannabinol) content, whereas, hemp oil has no THC. THC is the psychoactive compound but with such a low percentage, don't worry - your dog won't get high! In short, hemp oil is a preventive tool whereas CBD oil is a healing tool. I hope you understand this distinction very well because without understanding this basic difference, you will neither respect both the oils for their unique properties nor will you know how to use or when to use which one. On top of that, you may overdose your pet with CBD oil and worse, maybe, your pet needs hemp oil and never needed CBD oil to begin with! And now, we progress to CBD oil facts and benefits.
